The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) has announced that is will hold its 2nd Annual Electric Vehicle Safety Standards Summit on September 27-28, 2011 in Detroit. According to SAE, the Summit will provide a forum for individuals, organizations and agencies to contribute to the development of action plans regarding the codes and standards necessary to effectively address safety as it relates to electrified vehicles and their infrastructure.
