On March 11, 2009, EPA will hold a compliance workshop for the diesel and non-road SI industries. The meeting will take place at the Washtenaw Community College starting at 9 am. The meeting is intended for engine manufacturers that certify to the nonroad small SI, nonroad diesel, and HD highway diesel standards. Planned topics for discussion include: EPA engine confirmatory testing, SEA testing, allowances for engine special/alternative test procedures, and the Verify System.

OTAQ’s Assessment and Standards Division will also be hosting Nonroad Diesel Engine Manufacturers the following day, March 12, 2009, at the National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Lab to discuss nonroad diesel in-use testing.
