On November 14, 2008, EPA published a notice (CISD-08-16) announcing that it will hold an EPA/Manufacturer meeting beginning at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. The meeting will be held in the large classroom of the Morris J. Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The meeting is intended for the broader light-duty industry to update and inform them on a wide variety of issues. EPA has several topics related to Certification and Fuel Economy Compliance and, since they have completed their transition from CFEIS to Verify, they we will be discussing current Verify System implementation and their future plans for the Verify System. The meeting is anticipated to conclude by 1 pm. The meeting notice also includes information for participating via conference phone and webcast.
