On May 15th, CARB will hold a workshop in El Monte, CA to consider requirements to reduce GHG emissions from new vehicles caused by the use of mobile air conditioners. At the workshop, staff will discuss a proposed control measure that would require manufacturers to equip new vehicles with technologies that will reduce the solar heat gain of vehicles parked in the sun.
